In the golden autumn of October, fruits are abundant. On October 22, 2021, entrusted by the Major Equipment Localization Office of Sinopec, and organized by Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, a team of six leaders and experts visited Zhejiang Qiangsheng Compressor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to witness the equipment factory test of the "Polypropylene Plant Vertical Hydrogen Compressor" localization development project.

        At around 9 am on the same day, leaders from the Material and Equipment Department of Sinopec, China Petrochemical Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., and Sinopec Hainan Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd., as well as guests from related units, arrived at the equipment factory test site to carefully inspect the "Polypropylene Plant Vertical Hydrogen Compressor". During the inspection, relevant experts raised inquiries from multiple perspectives, including the structural design, parameter performance, and safety requirements of the equipment. Mr. Feng Xueqiang, the chairman of our company, and relevant technical personnel provided answers on site and introduced the design, innovation, process, and operation of the equipment to all members of the research team. At the test site, members of the research team expressed their affirmation of the no-load mechanical operation condition of the unit, saying that "the noise emitted by the unit during operation is even quieter than the sound of external decoration".

       After the field test, the members of the research team, led by the staff, visited the conference room on the third floor of the company's administrative building to organize an acceptance witness meeting. According to the meeting agenda, Yue Ping, the Deputy Chief Engineer of Technology at China Petrochemical Engineering Construction Corporation, reported on the design and technical requirements of the hydrogen compressor. Cao Jun, the Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Technology Center of our company, reported on the localization development and progress of the unit. Then, Liu Hongtao, the Chief Engineer of Shandong Tiangong Petrochemical Equipment Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd., explained the supervision of the unit. As the owner, China Petrochemical Hainan Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. also gave a brief report on the project. Finally, after discussion and research by the research team, a unified acceptance opinion was formed, unanimously agreeing that the equipment factory test of the "polypropylene plant vertical hydrogen compressor" localization development project passed the acceptance!

      The localization development project for the "vertical hydrogen compressor for polypropylene plants" major equipment, which commenced in 2018, has achieved breakthroughs in technologies such as the oil-free hole technology for the crankshaft integral forging and the nitrogen-filling protection technology for the crankcase. Through meticulous design, repeated demonstrations, and multiple tests conducted by the research team, the project has enhanced the unit's work efficiency, extended the service life of components, and improved operational safety. Simultaneously, this unit will generate multiple proprietary intellectual properties and establish a comprehensive set of manufacturing reference standards.

      The unit has passed the test and acceptance, fully demonstrating the core technological strength and manufacturing capabilities of Zhejiang Qiangsheng Compressor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. It has made a positive contribution to China's equipment technology in the field of polypropylene plants, writing a magnificent chapter for breaking the foreign technology monopoly and showcasing the national brand "Made in China"!
